Paris, May 24, 2017

Free has once again enriched its audio-visual offering by becoming the first operator in France to propose, in a box package, LaCinetek - a Video on Demand (VoD) service dedicated to twentieth-century movies selected by directors from across the world. About Free

Free - an Iliad Group subsidiary - is the inventor of the Freebox, the first multiservice box on ADSL. Free is behind numerous innovations in the Broadband and Ultra-Fast Broadband access segment (VoIP, IPTV, flat-rate calling plans to multiple destinations, etc.). Free provides straightforward and innovative offerings at the best prices. For example, the Freebox Revolution, the 6th generation of Freebox units, includes an NAS and a Blu-RayTM drive, and the Freebox mini 4K was the first Android TVTM and 4K box on the French market. Free was the first operator to include calls from landlines to mobile phones in its offerings and also calls to French overseas departments (DOM). Since January 2012, Free has brought mobile phone usage within everyone's reach with straightforward, no-commitment offerings at very attractive prices. At just €15.99 per month for Freebox subscribers, the Free Mobile Plan includes roaming communications all year round from more than 35 countries (unlimited calls, texts and MMS as well as 5GB/month of 3G mobile Internet from these destinations) as well as unlimited 4G in Metropolitan France. As at March 31, 2017, Free had over 19 million subscribers (6.5 million Broadband and Ultra-Fast Broadband subscribers and 12.9 million mobile subscribers).

Offer subject to terms and conditions. Available in Metropolitan France for subscribers who have the Freebox Revolution with TV by CANAL Panorama package or the Freebox mini 4K or the Freebox Revolution (with the Freebox TV service). Service accessible from the Freebox Videoclub menu. Movie rental charged on a per-film basis.

About LaCinetek

LaCinetek is the realization of a dream shared by three directors - Pascale Ferran, Cédric Klapisch and Laurent Cantet. After seeing how difficult it was to find the greatest movies in the history of cinema and their lack of availability on VoD, they began to dream up a website dedicated to these movies selected by various directors. Their dream became reality in 2015 and now takes the form of a VoD service which is accessible for the first time on television through the Freebox.
