PRESS RELEASE

New broadcasting agreement signed between Free and the TV channels BFMTV, RMC Découverte, RMC Story, BFM Paris and BFM Lyon Métropole

Free and the TV channels, BFMTV, RMC Découverte, RMC Story, BFM Paris and BFM Lyon Métropole have entered into a new broadcasting agreement.

This agreement allows Free to broadcast BFMTV, RMC Découverte and RMC Story as well as the two local channels, BFM Paris and BFM Lyon Métropole.

BFMTV, RMC Découverte and RMC Story - which Free stopped broadcasting on August 27, 2019 - are now available again for Free subscribers.

This outcome - which is good news for TV viewers and the sector as a whole - was achieved thanks to the perseverance of the French audiovisual regulator, the CSA, which worked with determination to find a solution for restoring the signal.
