Sant'Antonino, Switzerland, November 27, 2018.Thorsten Steinle assumed responsibility for Interroll's service activities in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region as of November 1, 2018.
In his new role as Head of Service EMEA, 50-year-old Steinle will promote the country-specific expansion of service activities as well as the expansion of the service offering in the Interroll service network. The focus here is on further increasing customer satisfaction. One focal point will be process harmonization of the service chain across all Interroll products and services.
Steinle brings nearly 20 years of internationally proven strategic and operational business expertise with a focus on sales, service and aftermarket.
Prior to joining Interroll, Steinle was Service Director EMEA with machine tool manufacturer DMG MORI Management GmbH in Bielefeld, where he was responsible for the after-sales business in EMEA (except Germany and Southwest Europe) with a turnover in the hundreds of millions (in euros). Previously, he had been Service Manager Europe for DMG MORI Europe AG from Winterthur, Switzerland, since 2013. This position was followed by various responsibilities at Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG from 1999 to 2013, including senior positions in the Service & Aftermarket division in Heidelberg, Germany, and an assignment for Heidelberger Druckmaschinen Osteuropa Vertriebs GmbH as Sales Director Service & Parts Eastern Europe in Vienna, Austria.
