Jena, Germany, March 14, 2018 - Out of 245 applicants for this year's INTERNET WORLD EXPO Shop Awards, Intershop customers Würth and Raja emerged as winners.

Würth, who went live in 2018 with a completely revised web shop, entered the battle for the award for the first time and was promptly rewarded with the winning title.

Gerhard Scheffel, E-Commerce Manager at Würth Netherlands, commented on LinkedIn: 'We are proud. At the 9th INTERNET WORLD Shop Awards, the Würth Online Shop convinced the jury: with a focus on consulting, a clear product presentation and customer-oriented functions. Special B2B functions offer Würth customers everything they need for their daily business'.

3rd place went to Raja, who already won in 2015 and took third place in 2016.They shared their joy on Twitter: 'We did it: RAJAPACK wins 3rd place in the category 'Best B2B Shop' at the Shop Award 2019! Thanks @internet_world and their readers! To a new one next year - even stronger and better!'

The trends in e-commerce also became clear at this event. The seamless Customer Journey was taken into account by combining the categories 'Best Online Pure Player' and 'Best Multichannel Dealer'. The customers buy where they feel comfortable, the channel is increasingly irrelevant, according to the organizers. The jury judged the general performance of the applicant shops in terms of mobile communications to be surprisingly poor.
