The St David's Partnership, owners of St David's in Cardiff, one of the UK's premier retail and leisure destinations announced the signing of high-end eatery The Ivy Cardiff.

It is the brand's first-ever restaurant in Wales.

The Ivy Collection, a group of over 30 Ivy Brasseries and Ivy Cafés across the UK, will open the new two-floor 5,600 sq ft brasserie this Autumn, serving up to 284 covers with outdoor seating and a private dining space with views across The Hayes, joining premium brands such as Jo Malone and Vivienne Westwood on this prominent thoroughfare.

The Ivy Collection is renowned for its luxurious setting with a relaxed dining feel, and will be offering modern British dishes with a full service from breakfast through to dinner. The new brasserie has been designed by an in-house team and includes a feature tree as a focal point on the ground floor of the restaurant, bringing the brand's unique style to Cardiff, and Wales, for the first time.

Speaking on behalf of the St David's Partnership, a joint venture between Landsec and intu, Russell Loveland, Senior Portfolio Director for Landsec, said: 'We look forward to welcoming The Ivy Collection to Cardiff for its Welsh debut. This iconic restaurant is a fantastic addition to St David's, its fine dining and unique atmosphere providing something new and exciting to the destination. We expect the internationally renowned brunch and all-day dining offer will be a firm favourite with the discerning Cardiff customer!'

The Ivy Collection has an international appeal and their first-ever restaurant in Wales will sit perfectly alongside other premium brands on The Hayes - including Michael Kors, Jo Malone and Vivienne Westwood - whilst complementing the extensive retail and dining offer already available.

This follows the news that global denim pioneer Levi's® has opened a brand new 2,500 sq ft store on the Grand Arcade at St David's, and international lifestyle and performance footwear brand Skechers is set to open this Autumn at the destination.
