Atlas Copco AB (ATCO-A.SK) said Monday that it would launch a public tender offer at 50 euros ($54.7) a share for machine-vision specialist Isra Vision AG (ISR.XE).
The Swedish manufacturer said the offer has the full support from Isra's management board and supervisory board. The company already secured 34.9 percent of the shares via irrevocable undertakings and a share purchase agreement, it added.
Through the partnership, Isra will continue to operate under the same brand and its headquarter in Darmstadt, Germany, will become a division within the industrial technique business area.
"Atlas Copco is further strengthening its focus on technologies enabling digital manufacturing while meeting increased demands for quality inspection and flexible automation," the company said.
