In response to the expansion of the coronavirus outbreak, the Company today announced the decision to implement the following measures.

1) Temporary Suspension of International Service
Due to the sharp decrease in travel demand, travel restrictions, and strengthened quarantine measures at Tianjin airport, the Company will temporarily suspend the Nagoya=Tianjin service, currently operating two flights per week.

(*1) JL840 Tianjin to Nagoya service will operate on 28FEB and 02MAR

2) Additional Routes Subject to Aircraft Disinfection
Currently, aircraft operating to select airports in China are disinfected during the overnight hours. Applicable areas include seat tables, arm rests, IFE monitors/controllers, lavatories (including door knob, sinks) and/or any areas where customers may touch during a flight. Due to recent updates to the coronavirus outbreak, the following routes have been added:

Current
Japan=Beijing, Dalian, Tianjin, Shanghai (Hongqiao / Pudong), Guangzhou
Added
Japan=Seoul, Busan, Hong Kong

The Company will continue to monitor the ever-changing situation and implement effective measures to provide customers peace of mind when traveling on JAL`s global network.
