Japan Airlines (JAL) today revised its flight frequency plans for the month of September 2020. In this announcement, JAL has made the decision to continue suspending scheduled services between Japan and Hawaii for the month of September. However, the airline will temporarily operate extra flights between Tokyo and Honolulu, as well as a direct flight from Honolulu to Osaka Kansai airport to serve essential needs for students, workers stationed abroad, and for citizens returning to/from Japan.

Currently, travelers must be quarantined for 14 days upon entering the State of Hawaii. All travelers are requested to verify entry requirements for both Hawaii and Japan prior to the travel date. For details, visit: https://health.hawaii.gov/travel/ and http://hidot.hawaii.gov/coronavirus/.
