Japan Display Inc. Comments on Nikkei Newspaper's Article

Nikkei newspaper today reported in their article about a contract Japan Display Inc. (JDI) has with its customer. However, JDI has made no announcement in this regard and makes no comments on a contract with customers.

The article also talks about the background of alliance negotiation with the Suwa Consortium. JDI would like to clarify that the necessary information was provided in fair manner for the parties in the negotiations in order for the parties to make decisions on their investments after entering into the non-disclosure agreements with the related parties.
