Announcement Regarding Postponement of the Effective Date For the Merger of the Consolidated Subsidiary

Japan Lifeline Co., Ltd. ("Company") announced that the following resolution was passed at the Board of Directors Meeting held on November 2, 2016 concerning postponement of the effective date that disclosed on June 28, 2016 in "Announcement of Absorption-type Merger (Simplified Merger and Short form Merger) of the Consolidated Subsidiary" for the merger of its consolidated subsidiary, JUNKEN MEDICAL Co., Ltd..

1. Change of the effective date of the Merger

2. Reason for change

   Since it was found that it takes more time than the initial estimate for integration preparatory work accompanied by the Merger, the original effective date of the Merger was postponed until April 1, 2017.
