Appointment of a JSW S.A. Supervisory Board Member - supplement

As a supplement to Current Report No. 33/2018 of 23 October 2018, the Management Board of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa S.A. ('Company') hereby conveys information about the education, qualifications and previous positions and a description of Mr. Konrad Balcerski's career as he has been appointed to be a member of the Company's Supervisory Board of the 10th term of office.

Mr. Konrad Balcerski is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw. He is an attorney. He is a graduate of the Post-Graduate Course of Study on Audit, Financial Control and Accounting and the Post-Graduate Course of Study on Taxes administered by the Warsaw School of Economics. He has participated in many courses and training sessions in accounting and project management (TenStep Project Management and Prince 2).

Mr. Konrad Balcerski has many years of experience in corporate governance in companies with a State Treasury shareholding operating chiefly in the oil and gas sector. He is currently an employee of the Department of Oversight and Ownership Policy at the Minister of Energy.

At the same time, the Company reports that in accordance with the submitted representation, Mr. Konrad Balcerski is not listed in the Register of Insolvent Debtors kept pursuant to the National Court Register Act, is not involved in any activities competing with the Company's business and is not a partner in any civil law company or partnership, nor is he a member of any corporate body of a capital company, nor is he a member of any corporate body of any competitive legal persons.
