Johnson Electric Brazil celebrated the grand opening of the new production plant in Arujá on May 08, 2017, presided by Dr. Patrick Wang, Chairman and CEO, and honorable guests from the local government authorities.

Speaking at the celebration ceremony, Dr. Wang said, 'This new factory represents an important element in our corporate strategy to serve our customers both globally and locally. Over time, we see Arujá becoming an important operating base and a regional hub for Johnson Electric to serve our customers across South America.'

Among the attending guests included Mr. Jose Luiz Monteiro, Mayor of Arujá; representatives from SINDIPEÇAS (Brazilian Association of Automotive Components Manufacturers) and Investe São Paulo; and representatives from several global OEMs and Tier1s.

Participants from Johnson Electric side include Dr. KC Ko, Senior Vice President, Automotive Product Group; Mr. TS Choi, Senior Vice President, Global Manufacturing; Mr. Mauro Salute, Vice President Global Powertrain Cooling; Mr. Sérgio Rodrigues, General Manager Americas Operations and Mr. Fernando Vicini, Head of South America.
