Musa Shihadeh receives the award of wise leadership from

" Tatweej Academy"

Tatweej Academy for Excellence Awards in the Arab region and the Arab Organization for Social Responsibility in its third session has granted Mr. Musa Shihadeh, Vice Chairman, General Manager of Jordan Islamic Bank (JIB) a red sash and gold medal of  Distinguished and a Certificate of  Excellence in the field of wise leadership in appreciation of his reasonable leadership of Jordan Islamic Bank which has been selected among the best pioneering banks on the level of Arab region.

This prestigious ceremony honors Shihadeh in appreciation of his distinguished efforts in settling islamic banking rules in Jordan, supporting Jordan national economy, possessing leadership and management characteristics which contributed in leaving a clear mark and outstanding achievements in islamic banking sector in Jordan and the region through his professional mission which exceeded thirty years and presented a pioneer success story of Jordan Islamic Bank.

The ceremony was held under the patronage of His Excellency Mr. Adnan Ahmad Yousif, President of the Union of Arab Banks on March 30th 2013 at Burj Al Arab , Al Falak Ballroom - Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The ceremony witnessed participation and attendance of pioneer institutions in the Arab world and many leadership and management figures who were honored for the achievements and initiatives they have done.

Tatweej Academy adopts the relevant international standards especially in terms of the selection of the selective committees and the work of the juries responsible for approving the reports submitted by the competent committees in addition to the assessment means in the evaluation of participants with the highest levels of transparency, which made Tatweej Academy for Excellence Awards earns a high credibility and a documented reference in the Arab Region.

On this occasion, Mr. Musa Shihadeh, expressed how much pleased and proud he is of the accomplishments the Bank achieved over thirty four years through which he kept pace with the Bank's developments, overstepping obstacles and crises facing it  to prove the success of islamic banking and its capability to keep abreast of up to date developments along with its compliance to provisions and principles of islamic sharia. He asserted as well that the successes the Bank achieved consequently  are by the favor of Allah, wise leadership in managing the Bank and cooperation between the Bank's staff who worked and still working at the Bank .Thus, the Bank  have reached high stages of success.

Shihadeh expressed his thanks to whoever dealt and still dealing with the Bank and whoever accompanied him in his mission in Jordan Islamic Bank , stating that this ceremony is considered a new motivation for us to make more efforts and present the best islamic banking services which meet the Bank's clients' aspirations, contribute in developing islamic banking industry, accelerate and boost economic development and serve society.

Shihadeh thanked as well the organizers of Tatweej  Academy wishing them the best for their distinguished initiatives which seek to develop  Arab excellence  indicators and standards  and their positive influence on Arab economies.
