Cirebon, 16 July 2017 - PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (Kalbe) through Hexpharm Jaya holds the HJ Learning Forum with the theme of 'Clinic Management Talk'. The event that is held at The Luxton Cirebon Hotel & Convention - Cirebon is attended by approximately 150 general physicians and specialists from West Java and is also supported by Indonesian Doctors' Association (IDI) of Cirebon. The educational event that will be opened by dr. Mohamad Luthfi, SpPD, FINASIM, MMRS as the Chairman of IDI Cirebon and Mulia Lie as the President Director of PT Hexpharm Jaya presents Prof. dr. Hasbullah Thabrany MPH, dr.PH. as one of the main speakers to discuss the how-to's of good clinic and hospital management in the BPJS era. The HJ Learning Forum that is held in the city of Cirebon is the second time where the events will be held in seven cities, i.e. Bekasi, Cirebon, Malang, Palembang, Padang, Solo and Tangerang.

'HJ Learning Forum is held with the purpose so that Physicians can understand clinic management, specifically premier clinics in order to be able to support the government's BPJS program,' said Mulia Lie, President Director of PT Hexpharm Jaya, 'We hold educational programs for Physicians to obtain newest insights and information on Risk Management Cardio metabolic and statin as a form of alternative therapy on dyslipidemia. this event is a form of Kalbe's care and commitment in achieving a healthier Indonesia in accordance with Kalbe's Mission,' Mulia Lie continued.'

The primary care that developed in such speed is in line with the existence of the Government's program. Law No. 24 Year 2011 concerning Indonesian Citizen and foreign nationals who have been residing in Indonesia at the minimum of six months shall be members of BPJS. Thus by year 2019, all Indonesian citizen must have BPJS, and therefore the Level 1 Health Facilities are needed in line with the increase of number of the BPJS holders. What should come to attention, because clinics as Level 1 Health Facility, is the availability of facility and infrastructure that is practical, fast, and qualified.

'The BPJS Program got quite a positive response from the public, which could be seen from the increase of membership that is largely filled by employees of the private sectors,' said Prof. dr. Hasbullah Thabrany MPH, dr.PH as a member of the Health Insurance Council of Indonesia, 'therefore the format of a clinic that provided service from morning to night (24 hours) could be the main option in the future for BPJS holders. However, the physicians should be given clinic management abilities in order to run the management of the clinic Physicians have been trained to handle clinical cases, but not to manage clinics organizationally. This is a challenge for physicians to be successful in the BPJS era.' Prof. Dr. Hasbullah continued.

'The BPJS program that has entered its fourth year already has a participant of more than 175 million people. With the increase of the participants of the BPJS program, it hopes to increase the quality of health services into an even more commendable one. Therefore, HJ Learning Forum is expected to be able to support the increase of quality of clinics in Indonesia,' Mulia Lie added.

HJ Learning Forum is attended by a number of speakers, among which are dr. Daeng M Faqih - Chairman of Primkop IDI and elected IDI Chairman, Prof. dr Hasbullah Thabrany MPH, dr.PH,- Health Insurance Council, dr.Erwina Kurniawan, Mars., - Founder of DK Bintaro Clinic, dr. Prasetyo Widhi Buwono, SpPD, K-HOM, FINASIM - Deputy Secretary General of PB IDI, dr. Jane Cherub - Medical Executive of Kalbe Group, and dr. Ahmad Fariz Malvi Zamzam Zein, SpPD - Secretary o IDI of Cirebon Regency. The forum is expected to become a means of meeting and sharing of knowledge and experience on clinics and medical knowledge.
