Kardex leadership strengthened
The Board of Directors of Kardex AG has appointed Urs Siegenthaler as Head of Kardex Remstar Division with effect from 1 January 2019. He will also strengthen the Kardex Group Management.
Kardex Remstar has been successfully managed by Jens Fankhänel since 2011. In May 2016, he additionally assumed the Group CEO role. As part of the Kardex Group's dynamic development, the Board of Directors now intends to strengthen both the Group Management and the Kardex Remstar management team.
Urs Siegenthaler will assume the position of Division Head of Kardex Remstar as of 1 January 2019, allowing Jens Fankhänel to focus on his role as Group CEO. Urs Siegenthaler is responsible for Kardex Remstar's New Business since 2016. He joined Kardex in mid 2011 and initially managed Kardex Remstar's Life Cycle Service business. He is a key driver of the success of both business areas.
Urs Siegenthaler will also join the Kardex Group Management, which currently consists of Jens Fankhänel (CEO and Chairman of the Group Management), Thomas Reist, CFO of the Kardex Group and Hans-Jürgen Heitzer, Division Head of Kardex Mlog.
