GMK Kazakhaltyn AO is a Kazakhstan-based, which is engaged in the mining of gold ore. The Company's activities are divided into three segments: Exploration, mining and processing of gold ore; Production of gold-bearing products, as well as Storage, sale and export of gold and other precious metals. The Company includes the following properties: Mine Aksu, which is located approximately in 200 kilometers northern of Astana and 20 kilometers of Stepnogorsk, Kazakhstan; Mine Bestobe is located approximately in 200 km northeastern from Astana and 100 km eastern of Stepnogorsk, and Mine Zholymbet, which is located approximately in 100 km northern of Astana and 100 km sourthern of Stepnogorsk. In addition, it engages in the mining of flux ore.
