Kerry Properties Acquires a Commercial and Residential Site at the Tianjie Block, Hanzheng Street Central Service Area,

Wuhan City

(Hong Kong, 20 September 2018) Kerry Properties Limited (HKEx: 683) announces today that the Company has won the bid for a commercial (including retail and commercial use) and residential site for a total consideration of RMB 6,425 million. The site is located at the Tianjie Block (Land Parcel No. P(2018)090) in Hanzheng Street Central Service Area, Wuhan City, Hubei Province.

With an aggregate site area of 64,664 square metres, the project is planned to yield a total GFA of 438,200 square metres. Situated at Hanzheng Street in the vicinity of the Inner Ring Road city centre area in Wuhan City, the site lies in a prime commercial district at the intersection of Yangtze River and Han River. The historic Hanzheng Street, dubbed as"The Most Famous Street in China", was a centuries-old commercial hub of greatgeographical importance. It was also a former centre of commodities trade between Europe and Asia. The site will enjoy direct connectivity to the Wuhan Metro Line 13 currently under planning.

Reputed as the "Thoroughfare to Nine Provinces", Wuhan City is at the centre of China'shinterland, as well as the largest national municipality in central Mainland. The city is also a significant node along the Yangtze River Economic Belt and a hub city under the Belt and Road Initiative, ready to seize opportunities arising from forthcoming developments.

The Hanzheng Street Central Service Area, where the lot of land is located, is a critical component in Wuhan's growth intoan international commercial zoneshowcasing China'sdedication to moving forward in commerce, finance, business services and culturaltourism.
