Korporatsiya Vsmpo Avisma : VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation congratulated own veterans on the Victory Day

VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation congratulated war participants and workers. Because of the imposing age of the heroes of the holiday, the delegation represented by shop managers and members from youth organization, deputies working in the Corporation visited each war veterans house. Representatives of trade union and students of technical college joined the delegation.

The history of the Corporation is very closely connected with the Great Patriotic War. The basic manufacturing was in the evacuated shops of plant based in Setun, Moscow region, in 1942. And Corporation Management sent greeting cards not only to still alive war participants but to all who came to Salda together with evacuated plant and worked hard for many years.

Veterans of war, workers, inhabitants of blockade Leningrad and prisoners of concentration camps received one-off payments in honor of 72nd anniversary of the Great Victory by order of Mikhail V. Voevodin, the Chief Executive Officer of VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation.

Corporation plan for the preparation and conduct of the Victory Day included a whole range of activities. At schools the bravery lessons were held, the festivals of Patriotic songs and concerts, the traditional relay races took place as well under the support of VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation.
