For its 'Hublot Loves Summer' campaign, the iconic Swiss watch manufacture sets up shop on Capri, Mykonos and Ibiza for the summer season. The three jewels of the Mediterranean have inspired three new avant-garde models. Featuring a resolutely modern and summery look, all three models are available in numbered limited editions.
For summer 2019, Hublot sets sail for the Bay of Naples, the Cyclades Archipelago and the Balearic Islands, paying homage to three iconic Mediterranean islands: Capri, Mykonos and Ibiza. As part of its 'Hublot Loves Summer' campaign, the Swiss watch manufacture founded in 1980 dedicates three new chronograph models to these three unique destinations.
The Classic Fusion Chronograph Special Edition Capri encapsulates the magic of the world-renowned Italian island. White rubber and sky blue ceramic come together to evoke the colors of the faraglioni, the white coastal rock formations that tower above the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean. The compact 45 mm chronograph has a sophisticated look with a blue satin-finish dial housed in a ceramic case of the same color and a brilliant ridged white rubber strap. The limited edition of just 30 numbered pieces is available exclusively at the Hublot boutique on via Vittorio Emmanuele on Capri.
The Classic Fusion Mykonos, the fruit of collaboration between Hublot and its local partner GOFAS Jewellery, is the latest model in the collection launched in 2012. The new timepiece is dedicated to one of the most celebrated islands in the Cyclades Archipelago, renowned for its festive nights, dazzling white windmills and houses with whitewashed walls and washed blue doors and shutters. With a sky blue ceramic bezel and strap inspired by the Aegean Sea, the case encloses a skeleton self-winding automatic chronograph movement. The limited edition of 50 watches is available exclusively on the island.
Hublot has inaugurated a pop-up boutique on Ibiza for the summer, where it unveiled the Classic Fusion Chronograph Ibiza. The new timepiece celebrates the most alluring and contrasted of the Balearic Islands, modern and authentic, bohemian and chic. Crowned with a blue ceramic bezel, the case encloses a chronograph movement held by a bi-material strap in blue rubber and white alligator, referencing the island's traditional dry-stone finca houses. A nod to the island's hippie spirit, the Peace and Love symbol features on the seconds counter.
