Empowering PEZA's Growth Agenda. To support the country's thrust in attracting new and protecting current foreign investments, the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) and the Philippines' largest electricity distribution utility, Meralco, formulated improved plans for providing quality and reliable power for economic zones. The two organizations recently held a series of strategic planning sessions in Laguna and Batangas economic zones aimed at propagating and implementing Meralco's new service offerings and enhanced systems on applications, inspections and responses to technical requirements. Knowledge-sharing between PEZA and Meralco electrical engineers is also set to be implemented, via Meralco Power Up Forums.
