Meralco powers 2016 Young Engineers and Scientists Summit (YESS). Meralco Power Academy (MPA), the electric distribution utility's training, education and thought leadership provider, brought together 400 College and Senior High School students from various schools & universities for the 2016 YES Summit via a learning symposium. Sessions led by local and international speakers were aimed at igniting the students' awareness of the exciting possibilities & opportunities in the field of science & technology, enough to fan their pursuit of the Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) track. Apart from the sessions, MPA also enabled the students to be part of the Meralco Technology & Innovation Summit (MTECH) where they were able to witness and experience the latest technologies in the energy industry. Leading the symposium is Ramon Segismundo (top photo, 3 from left), Meralco SVP and Head of HR and Corporate Services, concurrently MPA President & Trustee.
