Manutan International is one of the largest European groups involved in mail-order sales of industrial and office equipment to businesses and local authorities. The group also sells handling, lifting, and storage equipment, office and workshop furnishings and machines for production, maintenance, security, quality control, and shipping. Products and services are marketed through catalogs, sales offices, sales forces and via 26 commercial sites. Net sales (including intragroup) are distributed geographically as follows: Southern Europe (59.2%; Spain, France, Italy, Portugal and Switzerland), Central Europe (21.1%; Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands), Western Europe (12.6%; the United Kingdom), Northern Europe (4.1%; Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden) and Eastern Europe (3%; Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia).
