In response to the damage left by Hurricane Florence, McDonald's Corporation has pledged $500,000 to the American Red Cross in support of the immediate local relief and recovery efforts for communities, families and individuals impacted by the storm.

'The hearts and minds of the entire McDonald's U.S. system are focused on everyone impacted by Hurricane Florence,' said McDonald's U.S. President Chris Kempczinski. 'We stand ready to help all of those affected by the devastation as they recover and rebuild in the coming weeks.'

While some McDonald's restaurants remain closed at this time, locations continue to open as conditions allow. Additionally, several owner/operators across the affected area are working to feed first responders, for free, as they continue to serve their communities.
