Mediaset : COURT ACCEPTS REQUEST FROM MEDIASET TO WITHHOLD ANY DECISION UNTIL AFTER THE SHAREHOLDERS' MEETING CALLED FOR 10 JANUARY

CAUTIONARY INJUNCTION PURSUANT TO ARTT. 2378 C.C. AND 700 C.P.C REQUESTED BY VIVENDI AND SIMON FIDUCIARIA ON 15 OCTOBER 2019:
COURT ACCEPTS REQUEST FROM MEDIASET TO WITHHOLD ANY DECISION UNTIL AFTER THE SHAREHOLDERS' MEETING CALLED FOR 10 JANUARY

Ending the reserve position expressed on 6 December, the Court of Milan today announced that for the purpose of the precautionary assessment of requests presented by Vivendi and Simon Fiduciaria regarding to the resolution made by Mediaset's Extraordinary Shareholders' Meeting of 4 September 2019, the outcome of the Shareholders' Meeting called for 10 January 2020 is relevant. Therefore, accepting the request made by Mediaset, the Court has deemed it appropriate to postpone any discussion of the issue to a hearing subsequent to that date, and has consequently fixed the date of 21 January 2020 for such a hearing. With the same provision the Court further extended the provisional suspension of the resolution of 4 September 2019 until the outcome of said hearing.
