Mediaset S.p.A.: attempts at conciliation promoted by the Court of Milan with regard to the procedure pursuant to artt.2378 c.c. and 700 c.p.c. brought by Vivendi S.A. and Simon Fiduciaria S.p.A. have failed

Mediaset has announced that, despite strenuous efforts, attempts at conciliation promoted by the Court of Milan with regard to the procedure pursuant to artt. 2378 c.c. and 700 c.p.c. brought before the Court of Milan by Vivendi S.A. ('Vivendi') and Simon Fiduciaria S.p.A. ('Simon Fiduciaria') requesting the suspension of the resolution made by the Extraordinary Shareholders' Meeting of 4 September 2019 (see Press Release of 15 October 2019), have failed.

As previously announced in a Press Release of 22 November 2019, Mediaset will propose to an extraordinary meeting of the company's shareholders, the approval of specific modifications to the proposals for the articles of association of MFE, convened for 10 January 2020, along with the terms and conditions of special voting shares, prepared following the suggestions made by the Court of Milan during the conciliation process.

In the light of this, the Court of Milan reserves the right to fix a subsequent hearing.
