NOTICE TO THE MARKET

Minerva S.A. ("Minerva" or "Company"), the South American leader in the export of fresh beef and cattle byproducts, which also operates processed foods segment, hereby informs its shareholders and the market in general that the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced that yesterday (Nov. 26) the United States, through its Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS), approved the resumption of imports of fresh beef from Argentina.

The decision was made after the FSIS performed a rigorous audit of the cattle slaughter inspection system in Argentina, which made the country eligible to export fresh beef to the United States as of today, November 27, 2018. Argentina, which already exported cooked and processed beef to the United States, now has a quota of 20,000 tons/year to access the U.S. market, exempt from duties.

According to USDA estimates, the United States will import 1,373 thousand tons of beef in 2018 and 1,406 thousand tons of beef in 2019, while Argentinean exports are expected to reach 500 thousand tons of beef in 2018 and 575 thousand tons of beef in 2019.

With this new approval, Minerva can now access the U.S. market through its operations in Uruguay and Argentina.
