Moody’s Corporation (NYSE:MCO) announced today that Lisa Rabbe has joined Moody’s as Chief Government and Public Affairs Officer. Ms. Rabbe will oversee Moody’s global engagement with regulators, policymakers and other external groups.

Ms. Rabbe’s previous roles include Managing Director and Head of Public Policy for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region of Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited, and Managing Director and Head of Government Affairs for the EMEA region of Goldman Sachs International. She is the founder and CEO of Stratosphere Advisors LLC, a political risk and public policy consultancy, and of Stratosphere Analytics Inc,, a provider of regulatory technology solutions.

Ms. Rabbe has extensive experience in financial regulation, financial technology (FinTech) and regulatory technology (RegTech) within global banking, securities regulation, anti-trust and data privacy. She served as an instructor on FinTech for the Oxford Saïd Business School, and as an advisor to the European Cloud Alliance, which promotes the use of cloud technologies in Europe. She was a founding member of the RegTech Council, which facilitates RegTech industry standards.

She has been a member of the Advisory Board of the European Corporate Governance Institute since 2012. Ms. Rabbe has a B.A. in Government from Dartmouth College.
