Motech (Suzhou) Renewable Energy Co., Ltd and Jiansu Aide Solar Energy Technology Co., Ltd reach a strategic cooperation and capital increase agreement.
【Tainan, Taiwan (September 25, 2015) 】Motech Industries Inc. (TWO:6244; "Motech" or the "Company") today announced that its subsidiary, Motech (Suzhou) Renewable Energy Co., Ltd ("Motech (Suzhou) Renewable"), and Jiansu Aide Solar Energy Technology Co., Ltd ("Jiansu Aide") reached a strategic partnership. Motech (Suzhou) Renewable will issue new shares to acquire solar cell production lines of Jiansu Aide. Hereafter, Jiansu Aide will own stake of Motech (Suzhou) Renewable and through this cooperation, both firms are able to achieve better operational efficiency and higher profitability.
Motech (Suzhou) Renewable has good performance and we continue to pursue our goals as a global professional solar cell manufacturing leader by the increasing economies of scale.
China is the largest solar market in the world and we expect its continuous long term growth. To optimize the Company's profitability, we teamed up with Jiansu Aide to improve our competitive strengths and broaden market shares so as to consolidate our leading position in China.
