The end-of-July short interest represents 4.66 days average daily Nasdaq Global Market share volume for the reporting period, compared with 4.08 days for the prior reporting period.

Short interest in 1,000 securities on The Nasdaq Capital MarketSM totaled 929,503,354 shares at the end of the settlement date of August 30, 2019 compared with 944,167,057 shares in 990 securities for the previous reporting period. This represents 3.18 days average daily volume, compared with the previous reporting period’s figure of 3.33.
