The Bowflex SelectTech 560 Dumbbells are the world’s first-ever smart
dumbbells, offering a fully interactive experience to work out harder
and smarter. Equipped with the company’s proprietary 3DT™ sensor, the
Bowflex SelectTech 560 Dumbbells are the only home strength product with
built-in brains to guide users through exercises while tracking reps,
sets, calories burned, and providing feedback on form.
The Bowflex SelectTech 560 Dumbbells stood out among 5,214 submissions,
capturing the Red Dot Award jury’s attention for the product’s
innovation, functionality, ergonomics and durability. Only 1.5 percent
of all products entered are recognized with the Red Dot: Best of the
Best distinction. Since it was established in 1955, the Red Dot Award
ranks among the most renowned design competitions in the world.
The Bowflex SelectTech 560 Dumbbells’ compact design reduces the number
of separate dumbbells from 32 down to only two – making them the perfect
addition to any home gym. Changing the weights is as easy as twisting
the handle. Users can track workouts and set goals using a free 3DT app
for their smartphone. Once the app has been downloaded, users can sync
the app with Apple Health, Google Fit, MyFitnessPal and UA Record. The
3DT app also comes with 70 preloaded step-by-step workout videos.
“Our goal with the Bowflex SelectTech 560 Dumbbells was to revolutionize
a product our customers already trusted by incorporating advanced
technology to further meet their strength training needs,” said Tom
Moran, Vice President, Advanced Development, Nautilus, Inc. “This Red
Dot: Best of the Best honor shows we’re committed to designing products
that deliver results and motivate our customers to live healthy lives.”
