NEWSAT APPOINTS COMPANY SECRETARY NewSat Limited (ASX: NWT, OTCQX: NWTLY), Australia's satellite company, announces that William Abbott has resigned as interim Company Secretary and the Company has appointed John McDonough as Company Secretary, effective 16 April 2015.

John brings over 25 years' experience in financial management, corporate finance and business integration to NewSat. Having held senior positions at NAB and ANZ, John's experience also extends to professional services with PWC and Ernst and Young. John is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and holds a Bachelor of Economics from Monash University.
John joined NewSat as SVP, Finance in April this year, reinforcing the strength of the Company's management alongside recently appointed SVP, Corporate Development David Kramer and interim CFO, Mark Spragg. William Abbott will continue in his role as Corporate Counsel for NewSat.
