Nexon has announced that AxE: Alliance vs Empire, an expansive massively multiplayer online role playing game (MMORPG), will be launching to the App Store for iPhone and iPad and on Google Play for Android devices worldwide soon this year. AxE delivers a next generation, fully-featured MMORPG on mobile devices with a sprawling and ever-changing open-world and an immersive fantasy story of an epic war between the Darkhaan Empire and the Galanos Alliance. Featuring console-quality HD graphics powered by Unity 5 Vulkan technology, AxE provides players with a deep social gameplay experience that unites 150 players on the battlefield in 75 vs 75 real-time player vs player (PvP) combat while providing an array of unique cooperative and competitive modes that will test players’ skills in working together.

Players will be able to create and customize their character from six unique and powerful classes. Each character can be equipped with an arsenal of weapons, armor, abilities and more that can be tailored to fit every play style preference. AxE’s single player adventure will have players exploring a range of vibrant open-world locations, where they will meet unique characters and enemies and complete quests and objectives to earn powerful loot and equipment to further level up and customize their characters.

Battles in AxE offer a broad range of real-time competitive modes including 75 vs 75 faction warfare and tactical four vs four player matches. Cooperative battles and raids give players a chance to team up to take on powerful dungeon bosses and some of the fiercest enemies in the game. AxE will feature robust social systems which include chat and team management at launch, providing players with the forum and tools to strategize before every team battle. AxE’s in-game voice chat system provides players with the ability to communicate and strategize live during raids, co-op missions and player vs player matches. Players can keep tabs on their rivals through AxE’s chase and revenge feature, giving them the ability to track and pursue enemy players in the game in real-time.
