NK Rosneft' : Rosneft and Yugra District Expand Social Cooperation

As part of the XXII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Rosneft and the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District - Yugra concluded an additional agreement on social cooperation. The document was signed by Igor Sechin, Chief Executive Officer of Rosneft, and Natalya Komarova, Governor of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District - Yugra.

The Agreement anticipates parties' interaction in the implementation of significant projects and programs aiming at health and education promotion and at popularization of physical activity and mass sports.

Largest projects include construction of a school for 900 pupils in Nizhnevartovsk and a multifunctional sports center in Nefteyugansk. In addition, the Company in the region will support construction of communal infrastructure in dwelling houses for multiple children families in the Nefteyugansk District, erection of sports facilities in the Surgut District and in the city of Pyt-Yakh. Special focus will be put on the development of children ice-hockey.

The Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District - Yugra and Rosneft was made in May 2014. In the framework of the cooperation with the Company, the region has implemented a number of major social projects.

Rosneft's largest producing subsidiaries operate in the Autonomous District: RN-Yuganskneftegaz, Samotlorneftegaz, RN-Nyaganneftegaz, Nizhnevartovsk Oil and Gas Producing Company, Tyumenneftegaz, Varyoganneftegaz, Tomskneft, Kondaneft. Furthermore, servicing, sales, and logistics entities of Rosneft also operate in the region .
