NK Rosneft' : Rosneft and the Talent and Success Educational Foundation Sign a Cooperation Agreement

As part of XXII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Rosneft and the Talent and Success Educational Foundation signed a Cooperation Agreement.

The document was signed by Igor Sechin, Rosneft CEO, and Elena Shmeleva, the Head of the Talent and Success Educational Foundation.

Pursuant to the Agreement, Rosneft and the Talent and Success Educational Foundation plan to implement a number of research and development projects and programs for gifted children and youth. These projects are aimed to promote the research, engineering and creative activities, including in priority areas of the energy and fuel complex, among young people.

Cooperation with the Talent and Success Educational Foundation is carried out under the Rosneft-2022 Strategy providing for support to the national policy in the area of education, and development of organizational capacity of the Company. The parties will take part in the Ticket to the Future Career Orientation Project for schoolchildren of grades 6 - 10, which is implemented on the instruction of Vladimir Putin, the President of the Russian Federation.

The Talent and Success Educational Foundation was foundedon December 22, 2014, by distinguished Russian scientists, culture and sports figures upon the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin who chairs the Board of Guardians. The Foundation implements its programs in Sirius Educational Center opened on the basis of the Olympic facilities in Sochi in June 2015. Participation in programs of the Center is free of charge.

The Foundation conducts its activity with support from the RF Ministry of Education and Science, RF Ministry of Sports, and RF Ministry of Culture.
