NORMA Group's Sustainability Report honored with two awards

- Company receives PwC Building Public Trust Award 2018 for particularly transparent and credible reporting

- Silver status at Fox Finance Award recognizes efficiency of sustainability report

Maintal, Germany, October 22, 2018 - NORMA Group received the Building Public Trust Award 2018 from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), an auditing firm. The company received the award for the Corporate Responsibility Report 2017 (CR Report) as the best non-financial reporting in the MDAX. In addition, NORMA Group received the Fox Finance Award in silver for its CR Report in the "Industry, Technology, Production" category. dapamedien Fachverlag presents the award for the efficiency performance of publications in the area of corporate reporting.

"For us, an effective Corporate Responsibility strategy and long-term successful management are inextricably linked," says Dr. Michael Schneider, CFO of NORMA Group and responsible for CR. "The awards demonstrate that we are living up to our claim of sound and transparent reporting. The CR Report thus makes a contribution to the effectiveness of our corporate responsibility."

With the Building Public Trust Award, PwC honors companies that have particularly transparent and credible reporting. NORMA Group's CR Report is based on a detailed CR roadmap with targets, milestones and status reports along the value chain, the jury noted in its justification.

The Fox Finance Award assessed NORMA Group's CR Report on the basis of four criteria: trust, credibility and transparency, distribution and interaction. The award confirms that the reporting concept has a far above-average impact.

More information on Corporate Responsibility (CR) at NORMA Group can be found on the CR website and in the 2017 Corporate Responsibility Report.
