Partnership with Context Information Security sees specialist and certified cyber defence and forensic services delivered to clients in the UK

London, UK; 23rd March 2016 - NTT Com Security has announced a new partnership with cyber security consultancy Context Information Security. The leading security solutions provider will be launching a new Incident Response Service for its customers in the UK, which will provide specialist certified incident response capabilities designed to help corporate customers identify, understand, defend against and remediate when sophisticated high impact cyber attacks occur.

The Incident Response Service is integrated with NTT Com Security's existing advanced Managed Security Services. In the event of an incident, using their combined expertise, NTT Com Security will engage with the affected client to provide incident support and threat intelligence. NTT Com Security will manage the delivery of advanced technical analysis services such as host forensic analysis, malware reverse engineering, log analysis, and network traffic analysis and, if appropriate, deploy consultants on-site to assist in further incident handling and technical investigation.

Peter Cunningham, SVP at NTT Com Security, said: 'Context has a strong reputation in the cyber security industry along with valuable relationships with government organisations such as CESG, CPNI and CERT-UK. By partnering with Context, NTT Com Security can access a pool of experienced and skilled incident response consultants. These additional services will complement and strengthen our customers' existing security capabilities. By understanding all aspects of a critical incident we can advise our customers how to respond appropriately and provide the intelligence to defend and mitigate future threats.'

The Incident Response Service reinforces NTT Com Security's commitment to helping businesses minimise the effects of a data security breach. As revealed in the Risk:Value 2016 report last month, attitudes to the real impact of security breaches have already started to shift, with almost all UK businesses now having a disaster recovery and formal information security policy in place, or planning to implement one soon.

Mark Raeburn, CEO at Context Information Security said: 'More and more organisations are executing effective incident management in order to reduce the potential impact of a security incident - but this can be difficult to achieve alone in an industry that's facing a major skills shortage. Incident response experts can be difficult to find, expensive to recruit and challenging to retain, which is why deploying a specialist team that uses the required skills on a daily basis and brings lessons learnt from a wide range of incidents across many industries can mean the difference between an incident response success and failure.

'Context is proud to be partnering with NTT Com Security, the leading security solutions provider. The combination of our expert skills in investigating complex attacks, together with NTT Com Security's leading detection services, will deliver high value cyber security services to our joint clients. In an increasingly challenging environment, organisations need access to the best threat detection and cyber security response services when it really matters.'
