BOWIE, Md., April 05, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Old Line Bank’s President and CEO, James W. Cornelsen, will be inducted to the Maryland Chamber of Commerce’s Business Hall of Fame on May 7th at the MGM National Harbor.  He is one of two inductees this year who were nominated by their peers at the chamber and voted in by the Executive Committee.

Mr. Cornelsen has over 40 years of commercial banking experience and joined Old Line Bank as President, Chief Executive Officer and Board Member in 1994.  Under his leadership, the bank has grown to one of the largest community banks in Maryland. He serves on the Board of Directors of The Greater Washington Board of Trade, United Way of the National Capital Area, Junior Achievement of Greater Washington, The Foundation Schools, Maryland Humanities Council, and the Greater Prince George’s Business Roundtable amongst others. 

The Maryland Business Hall of Fame was established to recognize entrepreneurs and business executives whose contributions, both in business and the community, have helped advance the state’s business climate and quality of life of its residents.
