Ooredoo Q.P.S.C. ('Ooredoo') - Ticker ORDS - announced the appointment of Mr. Ahmad Abdulaziz Al Neama as Chief Executive Officer of Indosat Ooredoo, succeeding Mr. Chris Kanter, effective 3rd May 2019.

Mr. Chris Kanter has completed the leadership transition phase, during which he successfully kicked off the company's digital transformation programme and achieved great results for the company in Q4 2018 and Q1 2019.

He will remain President Director of Indosat Ooredoo until the company's next AGM, after which he will be returning back to the Board of Commissioners.

Mr. Ahmad Al Neama, a 15-year Ooredoo veteran, currently serves on the Board of Directors of Indosat Ooredoo and Ooredoo Myanmar. He has most recently served as Ooredoo Group's Chief Technology and Information Officer since 2017.

Mr. Vikram Sinha, who has served as a strategic advisor to the Indosat Ooredoo executive office since 2018, has now been appointed the company's Chief Operating Officer, while also maintaining his seat on the Ooredoo Myanmar Board of Directors.
