Korea's leading implant manufacturer sold 233 million implants in 2017, the largest among global makers, followed by Zimmer Biomet with 188 million and Nobel Biocare with 187 million, according to Prof.

'It's a significant achievement that Osstem Implant has become a global brand that dentists around the world use the most,' Kim said. In 2018, the company also stood at the top of the list with sales of 286 million implant fixtures.
Osstem sells products in more than 70 countries and operates local corporations in 25 countries. Its rise to the top global position reflects its 'passion for Ramp;D and high-quality clinical education' it provides to local and overseas dentists, the company said in a statement.
