The Deputy Commissioner and Secretary Social Welfare Committee (SWC) Naushahro Feroze, Ganhwar Ali Laghari, on Friday, presided over a meeting regarding proposed welfare schemes of around Rs.27 million.
The amount for welfare Scheme provided by the oil and gas exploration companies Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) and Oil and Gas Company Limited (OGCDL).
According to hand out issued by the district information office on Friday, the Deputy Commissioner Ganhwar Ali Largari directed the participants of the meeting to bring improvements in those developments schemes areas where oil and gas active exploration sites were existed in line of government given directions.
The DC also directed the officials concerned to find out such schemes of those areas where facilities to the more people could be provided.
On the occasion, the committee's members approved several public welfare schemes on collectively. However, Village kalhora Station Drainage scheme excluded from the program and sought suggestions other schemes and all other schemes have been approved after some amendments.
The Chairman District Council Abdul Sattar Abbasi, Members Provincial Assembly Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah, representative of OGDCL Muhammad Akram, Executive Engineer, Education Works Aftab Ahmed Memon, Additional Deputy Commissioner Fayaz Hussain Rahojo, UC Chairman Ghulam Mustafa Barohi, UC Chairman Imdad Ali Rajpur and others concerned officials attend the meeting.
