PeWeTe Group of Companies applied two new coiled tubing technologies for the first time

Milling technologies for multi-port wells with horizontal completion and sand - blast perforation (SBP) on coiled tubing have been implemented in two Russian Regions.

In August, 2018, the coiled tubing fleet of KATKoneft LLC (PeWeTe Group Company) for the first time performed the milling of multi-port well with horizontal completion on coiled tubing. The operations were performed in Tomsk Region with the use of the additional 1,75 inch coiled tubing string.

In October, the coiled tubing fleet of KATKoneft LLC for the first time performed a sand-blast perforation on coiled tubing in the Khanty-Mansijsk region. After that the frac fleet of KATKoneft LLC successfully performed the reservoir fracturing through perforated interval, which proved works successful sand-blast perforation.

The customers highly rated the qualification of KATKoneft LLC employees during the execution of operations that consisted of the multi-port well with horizontal completion milling and sand-blast perforation on coiled tubing, having noted the team's professional approach during execution of technically complicated operations and the service quality provided by the Company.

The successfully performed milling and sand-blasting perforation have enabled the Group of Companies PeWeTe to expand the range of applied coiled tubing technologies.
