Phillips 66, an energy manufacturing and logistics company, has pledged a donation of $250,000 to the American Red Cross to aid in recovery efforts following the devastation left by fires across California. The Camp Fire is recognized as the most destructive wildfire in California history. This donation is critical to meet the immediate needs of survivors.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by the wildfires,” said Greg Garland, chairman and CEO of Phillips 66. “We hope our contribution will be impactful in helping Californians in need, including our employees and their families, neighbors and friends.”

Recovering from a disaster of this magnitude takes time and a diverse network of organizations and services to make sure people have the help they need. After the destruction of homes, schools and medical facilities, Phillips 66’s donation will help support sheltering, hot meals, medical and mental health services for thousands of people forced to leave their homes due to the deadly wildfires burning in both northern and southern California. The Red Cross depends on financial donations to fund its relief services. Help people affected by California wildfires by visiting redcross.org or calling 1- 800-RED CROSS.
