Piraeus Bank announces that Mrs Fotini Ioannou, General Manager Corporate & Investment Banking, is leaving the Bank at the end of April. She joined the Bank in September 2017 and has successfully supported the Group's strategy for financing large investment projects with an emphasis on infrastructure and energy, export-oriented companies and new, innovative businesses across the Greek economy.

Piraeus Bank's management would like to thank Mrs. Ioannou for her significant contribution to the development of the Group and wishes her every success in her next role.

Piraeus Bank has appointed Mrs Eleni Vrettou as Executive General Manager Corporate & Investment Banking, effective April 1st 2019.

Mrs Vrettou is highly experienced having served as Managing Director, heading Wholesale Banking Greece and Cyprus for HSBC Group since 2012. She has served as Regional Head Multinationals CEE/CIS/East Med, Director Global Banking Continental Europe at HSBC BANK, based in London. She has also worked in the field of Risk and started her career as a financial advisor to banks and multinational organizations in New York.

Mrs Vrettou holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in the USA.
