Polski Koncern Naftowy ORLEN : PKN ORLEN S.A. Management Board new members

PKN ORLEN S.A. ('Company') announces that the Supervisory Board of PKN ORLEN S.A., following its meeting on 10 August 2018 appointed to the Company's Management Board:

- Mr Michał Róg to the position of Management Board Member responsible for wholesale and international trade,

- Mr Armen Konrad Artwich to the position of Management Board Member responsible for corporate affairs,

with the effect from 1 September 2018.

Mr Michał Róg

A graduate from the University of Economics in Cracow, Management and Marketing faculty and from the Canadian International Management Institute and Harvard Business School.

He has over 20 years of experience with TELE-FONIKA KABLE S.A. where held the positions of: Sales Vice President for Distribution and Energy Sector, Sales and Product Development Director for Medium and High Voltage Products, Sales Director for the Balkan Market, Domestic Trade Director, Head of the Domestic Market Office.

Since March 2018 Management Board Member, responsible for Trade, ORLEN OIL Sp. z o.o. in Cracow. Since April 2018 Management Board Member in Paramo a.s. in Pardubice, Czech Republic.

Mr Armen Konrad Artwich

Mr Armen Konrad Artwich is a legal counsel. He graduated, with distinction, from Law and Administration at University of Warsaw, law studies and from Warsaw School of Economics, finance and accounting. He studied also company and commercial laws at University of Sheffield, School of Law. He completed attorney application at the Warsaw Bar Association.

Since January 2018 the Director of the Legal Department in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister. Earlier, in the years 2016-2018 as deputy director of the Department of Improvement of Economic Regulations in the Ministry of Development he was responsible for, among others, legislative projects from economics law and substantive supervision over the Central Office of Measures and the Polish Centre of Accreditation.

At the same time since July 2016 member of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (representative of the minister competent for economy).

In 2011-2016 he was employed in the Legal Area of Bank Zachodni WBK S.A., where he was responsible for legal services for investment banking in Global Banking & Markets Division.

He graduated from XVIII the School of Civil Society Leaders. For pro publico bono activity he was honoured with, among others, the Golden Order of Merit and Polcul Fund award.

Mr Michał Róg and Mr Armen Konrad Artwich submitted statements that upon taking up the position in the Management Board of PKN ORLEN S.A. they will not be involved in any activity competitive with PKN ORLEN S.A. and will not be partners of any competitive civil law partnership, partnership, capital company, will not be members of any board of a competitive capital company. They also stated that they are not on the list of insolvent debtors kept on record on the National Court Register Act.
