Polymetal International plc announces that Marina Grönberg, a representative of Vitalbond Limited, which currently holds 5.82% of the issued share capital of the Company, has informed the Board of her intention to step down from the Board of Directors and will be leaving the Board on 22 October 2018.

'After seven successful years with Polymetal, I have decided to submit my resignation from the Board. I depart with a strong sense of pride of what the Company has accomplished over the years and believe it is in an excellent position for further growth and success to the benefit of all shareholders,' said Marina Grönberg. 'Despite my departure, Vitalbond, as a long-standing investor, remains supportive of the business going forward.'

On behalf of Polymetal, the Board would like to thank Ms Grönberg for her commitment and input during her time with the Company since the 2011 IPO and wishes her well in all future endeavours.

Following Ms Grönberg's resignation, the Company's Board will comprise of the non-executive Chairman, one executive Director and seven non-executive Directors. Excluding the Chairman, five members of the Board are independent non-executive Directors.
