München, May 7, 2019. Every vote counts: May 8 marks the launch of ProSiebenSat.1's 'Go vote!' campaign to get out the vote for the European Parliament election. Prominent faces and influencers of ProSiebenSat.1 feature in the media Group's push to motivate especially the younger demographic to cast their ballots in the European Parliament election on May 26. The 'Go vote!' commercials that will run on the Group's entertainment platforms form the core of the campaign. Plus, in various formats such as 'taff', 'Galileo' and 'SAT.1-Frühstücksfernsehen' in the week preceding the election, ProSiebenSat.1 Group channels will provide comprehensive information focusing on Europe. In addition, Studio71 will drive even more focus on social media in cooperation with well-known influencers such as Jonas Ems and Jette Lübbehüsen via Instagram ShoutOuts starting May 21. With this push, ProSiebenSat.1 is proactively working to boost voter turnout, fulfilling its social responsibility to inform young people and mobilize them to go to the polls.

Conrad Albert, Deputy CEO and Group General Counsel, ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE: 'As a private media company, we consider it our mission to strengthen democracy and contribute to people's ability to form opinions. That's why we at ProSiebenSat.1 leverage the collective power of our entertainment platforms to provide young people with information across all channels and call on them to vote. This builds on our successful engagement during the past two German federal elections. It's about our future and our Europe. We all have the chance to stand up for freedom, democracy and tolerance.'

Dr. Edmund Stoiber, Chairman of the Advisory Board of ProSiebenSat.1: 'The young people of today shape our Europe of tomorrow. That's why it is so vital for us to seize every opportunity to explain what a meaningful role Europe plays in the life of each and every one of us. So we, the ProSiebenSat.1 Advisory Board, support the Company's initiatives to provide the young demographic with targeted information. The current Fridays for Future movement clearly demonstrates how passionately the young generation cares about the future. ProSiebenSat.1 is taking up this idea with a get-out-the-vote drive and clearly saying what this is about: Go vote, because it's your Europe!

To mark the campaign's launch, ProSiebenSat.1 hosts 'Europe Panel' at Media Convention/re:publica in Berlin on May 8 at 12:30pm (Stage 6), which will be streamed live at http://pro7.de/18o. At this event, host Cherno Jobatey will be joined by Dr. Edmund Stoiber, Chairman of the Advisory Board of ProSiebenSat.1, Ann Cathrin Riedel, Chairwoman of the LOAD e.V. association, along with TV host Funda Vanroy and influencer Eko Fresh to discuss Europe-related issues young adults really care about. Editorial clips by the panel will be produced and published online via the Group's own digital unit Studio71 and online editorial staff Buzzroom as well as by content distributor glomex following the event.

Don't just vote for Europe. Vote for YOUR Europe! The campaign:
Europe concerns all of us. Not just because we all live here - but because we can all decide together how we want to live here. So a little piece of every one of us forms part of our Europe. 'When you vote, you don't just help shape Europe - you help shape YOUR Europe.' This is the idea presented by ProSiebenSat.1 stars and partners Joko Winterscheidt, Klaas Heufer-Umlauf, Jochen Schweizer, Eko Fresh, Jochen Schropp, Enie van de Meiklokjes, Daniel Boschmann, Frank Rosin, Diana zur Löwen, Marlene Lufen, Funda Vanroy, Stefan Gödde, Aiman Abdallah, Daniel Aminati, Sonya Kraus and many more, who explain in brief commercials how every single individual can take a stand for Europe: Just go vote.
