The Company is involved in manufacturing leather footwear, canvas built-up, casual and sports shoes, injection molded sandals/slippers and industrial safety footwear, and in the import and distribution of footwear. The Company is also active in exporting footwear. The Company operates through four segments: retail, e-commerce, wholesale, industrial and export-related parties. The Company has approximately 27 production facilities in 20 countries and operates approximately 5,000 retail stores in 90 countries. The Company’s brands include North Star, Power, Bata 3D, Marie Claire, MC Collection, Prive, Bata Comfit, Bata, PataPata, Sandak and Bata Red Label. The Company’s production facilities are located in Purwakarta. Bafin (Nederland) B.V. and Compass Limited, Bermuda, are the parent company and ultimate parent company of the Company, respectively.
