PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk Head Office of Tanjung Enim Mining Unit (UPTE) organized Halal Bi Halal 1438 H at Bukit Asam Sports Hall (GOR) on Thursday (20/7). The event attended by Board of Commissioners, Board of Directors of PTBA, and employees of PTBA was also attended by Regent of Muara Enim, Ir. Muzakir Sai Sohar and Muspida Muara Enim, Muspida Lahat, head of business partners and PTBA partners.

In his speech, PTBA President Director, Arviyan Arifin, congratulated Eid al-Fitr 1438 Hijriyah to all invited guests. In addition, through this Halal bi Halal event, PTBA also provides Bidiksiba scholarships symbolically to 25 students. The scholarship recipients are students who come from poor families in the Muara Enim and Lahat Regions who successfully passed the selection in the acceptance of Sriwijaya State Polytechnic (Polsri) and Polytechnic of Malang (Polinema). The scholarship submission is done by the President Director of PTBA, the Regent of Muara Enim, and the Head of Lahat Mining and Energy Department symbolically.

On the next day, Halal Bi Halal Family of PTBA was held in the office hall of PTBA unit Kertapati Port Palembang. In the event, PTBA President Director, Arviyan Arifin invites all PTBA employees to improve their performance so that corporate benefits can be felt by the surrounding community.

'I am sure that with hard working and increasing performance, it will bring benefits to the community, especially in the ring one of company, so that our contribution to society and government in every PTBA work unit will be more real,' said Arviyan Arifin.

The series of Halal Bi Halal 1438 Hijriyah events by the Board of Directors and Commissioners of PTBA is also held at Tarahan Port Unit on Monday (24/7) and the Ombilin Mining Unit (UPO) on Wednesday (26/7) tomorrow. At Ombilin Mining Unit, Halal Bi Halal will be followed by the inauguration of 'Education Hole' at Sawahluwung Mine. 'Education hole' itself is a museum established by PTBA UPO and opened to the public. This museum will be a reference for students to learn and practice about mining, especially deep mines.
