PT Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam Tbk : PTBA CSR Held Selection Test of Bidiksiba

Total of 215 students took the selection test of Bukit Asam Student Scholarship (Bidiksiba) at SMK Bukit Asam Tanjung Enim on Saturday (19/05). This scholarship program is organized by CSR PTBA in cooperation with State Polytechnic of Sriwijaya Palembang (Polsri) and Polytechnic of Malang (Polinema). All of 215 participants, 88 participants competed to get Bidiksiba to Polsri and 127 participants competed to get Bidiksiba to Polinema. 'Alhamdulillah this year the number of Bidiksiba quota increased from last year only 25 students,' said Chief Executive Bidiksiba Program. In 2018, the quota of Bidiksiba recipients to 45 students with the division of 25 people for further study in Polsri and 20 people to study at Polinema. Unlike the previous year where the participants came from PTBA Ring I operational area in Tanjung Enim. This year, Bidiksiba selection test participants came from other PTBA operational units such as Palembang, Lampung, and Ombilin. The recipients of this Bidiksiba will be financed further study to graduate from college. The hope is after graduating the students increasingly have the spirit to contribute to advance the region. Through Bidiksiba program that has been initiated since 2010 is a manifestation of PTBA's commitment to participate in educating the nation, especially the next generation in the company's operations area.
