Subject: The award of Thailand Petroleum Bidding Round 2018 for Exploration Blocks offshore the Gulf of Thailand No. G1/61 and G2/61

According to Ministry of Energy's announcement of the result of Thailand Petroleum Bidding Round 2018 for Exploration Blocks offshore the Gulf of Thailand on 13 December 2018, PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited, or PTTEP, would like to inform that PTTEP Energy Development Company Limited, a subsidiary of PTTEP, has been awarded the rights of petroleum exploration and production and as the operator for Exploration Block No. G1/61 (Erawan field) and G2/61 (Bongkot field) with holding interest of 60% and 100% respectively. For the Exploration Block No. G1/61, the partner is MP G2 (Thailand) Limited, a subsidiary of Mubadala Petroleum (Thailand) Holdings Limited. The Production Sharing Contracts (PSC) are expected to be signed within the first quarter of 2019.

As the experienced operator of gas fields in the Gulf of Thailand, with concrete operational plans, PTTEP has confidence in ensuring production continuity in natural gas supply according to PSCs with the minimum production volume of 800 and 700 MMSCFD in Erawan and Bongkot fields respectively. This will increase PTTEP's production and reserves in the long-term. In addition, continuous improvements in operational efficiency will enhance cost optimization and maintain competitiveness for sustainable growth.
